An exclusive place where I talk about one of SSBB's coolest new features, Assist Trophies!
These normal plain looking objects are actually Assist Trophies!
What is it?? Hidden inside every assist trophy is a special and unique character that will fight along you! With just pop it opens and wham! Your chances to get K.Os greatly increase.
Samurai Goroh: He recklessly slashes at enemies, causing a drastic movement to avoid him at all costs.
Devil (from NES game Devil World): As an assist trophie Devil doesn't assist much.....What he does is if he points to the left...well....the screen slowly moves to the left....This makes players become frantic and new strategies are developed....
Dr.Wright: Dr. Wrights exact function as an assist trophy is still kind of unknown...but one thing we do know, He makes enormous skyscrapers rise from the ground to hit enemies.
Knuckle Joe: Knuckle Joe has obviously been training since his last Kirby game appearence.... First he unleashes his Vulcan jab, ( constantly punching enemies). Then he eaither finishes them with his smash punch or his Rising break move.
Andross: Androsses attack is sure to cause a ruckus onthe battle field. First he heads to the back of the playing screen (he is huge by the way) and inhales.........Then he spits tons of panels out of his mouth! Don't worry about avoiding the panels, I don't believe you can be affected by your own assist trophies.
Lyndis: Unlike Samurai Goroh, Lyn's attack is a little less reckless. She builds up power....and then unleashes it all into one quick slash. Make sure to hold your enemies to get maximum damage.
Mr.Resetti: So it's Mr. Resetti, what does he do? Lecture you...and when I say lecture I MEAN lecture.....The only tactical avantage you could get would be a quick attack opening as your oponnents glance at the text.
Excite Bike:What!? The racers of Excite Bike???....I think they took a wrong turn.....Make sure to stay out of the pack of motorists way as they race through the stage. Being hit by one can cause some annoying damage...
Lakitu: Mentioned when announcing the excite bike assist trophy, this assist is pretty explanatory.....
Although not exactly confirmed as an assist trophy, Hammer bro is certain to be in SSBB ( mentioned as assist in "What is an assist trophy?" section of smashbros.com)
A....a.....a....Nintendog???!? What exactly is it doing......
Little Mac: Little Mac has fought his way into SSBB! Contrare to popular believe he is an ASSIST trophy NOT a playable character
Grey Fox sneaks his way into brawl. With a barrage of slashes he attacks his foes.
Saki Amamiya flies straight from Japan to join Brawl! He ( yes he is a he...don't poke fun of his feminist looks...lol) jumps magnificantly and swings his sword at his enemies....very impressive indeed.
It's Stafy! (Who the hell is Stafy?...) Well do not fear! He is one of the few Assist trophies who you can hurt...ugh...Well he does a spin attack to hurt enemies...
No need to explain this one...
It is Waluigi! Once again left out as a Major character Waluigi comes to Brawl to take out his anger of being a minor character! Watch out! He loves to stomp on and hit people with his tennis racket...
Metroid arrives to suck the life right out of you...literally...These things can be quite annoying if you encounter them in a Brawl.
Kat and Anna make their way to brawl to greatly embarass Vets of all kinds! (Seriously..who would want to be beaten by a 6 year old female ninja in Brawl?)
Helirin flies straight from Japan to blow all opponents off the stage! Be sure to get out of the way, or you are done for.
It is Jill and Drill Dozer! ( Don't ask...I have no idea who they are either) She seems to drill her opponts into the ground or something along those lines.
